Ed McMahon (March 6, 1923 - June 23, 2009) was the perfect straight man, to Johnny Carson on the late show. The man was a comic genius! But Johnny wasn't the only person he ever worked with. He worked with such greats as
Jane Fonda, Rock Hudson, Ann-Margret, Michael Caine, Katharine Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine! Ed had a long career starting back in the 50's doing vegetable-slicer TV commercials and hosting a late-night interview show in Philadelphia and briefly appeared as a clown on the CBS kiddie show Big Top. In 1959 he meet Johnny and the rest is T.V. History!
The Lovely Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 - June 25, 2009) was best known for her role as Jill Munroe in the old T.V. series "Charlies Angels", AND the simultaneous release of the most popular pinup poster EVER, (The Farrah poster sold a still record-holding 12 million copies -- and counting.)For the past few years she has bravely fought cancer. She was 62 and still (In my opinion) one of the most beautiful and classy woman I have ever seen. On top of all that her role as a battered wife in the 1984 movie Burning Bed inspired her to a lifetime of charity work, for victims of domestic violence, including serving as a board member for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
Micheal Jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) ...how can I describe the sorrow I feel. He is my generations answer to The Beatles and Elvis. A music icon and legend. I grew up listening to his music and had the biggest crush on him as a child. His music was the music that me AND my parents could agree to listen to in the car. I remember being allowed to stay up past my bed time to watch the "Thriller" video when it first premiered. Its hard for me to write this and hold back my tears. I was thrilled to hear that he was planing a comeback (even if couldn't afford to go)I don't care what the rumors were or what people said about him, I never lost faith in the goodness he had in his heart and the charity work he did. Micheal Jackson had a historic impact on the music industry and the world! The power of his music broke barriers of race, religion, class and gender. He was the first black artiest to EVER be on MTV (back when it actually started and played videos)
His career lasted longer then most starting at just ten years old to his last album in 2001. He won more Grammy Awards then any other artiest in his lifetime. Micheal was working on a comeback until his death today and every one said that he seemed in good health and had high hopes for this concert series.
My heart goes out to his family but mostly his children Prince and Paris. The king is dead.....long live the king.

"No."
